Two Whole Years 1

yep, used the title of an MxPx song as a post title, but I posted this photo on FaceBook and many of the non-FaceBook using public didn’t get to see it. Here it is in all it’s glory from a few days back (Dec 27th, 2006 and Dec 27th, 2008).

2 whole years

Mac vs. PC: Transformers-style 0

saw this on TUAW and had to pass it on. It’s totally worth watching, and even if you are a PC fan, you should find this video interesting.

ISP woes 0

In what seems like a pre-Christmas kick to the curb, my internet speed has gone from bad to worse. We pay for 8MB down, and we had been getting 2 and a half MB down for the past month or so… and miserable with that, but this weekend has been dreadful and I finally decided to check it. And what to my wondering eyes should appear, but near dial-up speeds. No wonder I am unable to function online. Anyway, we’ll see if this actually posts, but here’s the actual results, dated and everything.

Hoping yours is merrier.

Trent Dilfer is the Dr. Phil of NFL analysis 2

there… I said it.

This guy talks just like Dr. Phil, is bald and has the ego of Dr. Phil. And just like Dr. Phil isn’t a real “doctor,” Trent Dilfer believes himself a better quarterback and analyst than he was/is.

Watch and agree.

holiday links 0

Okay, not really, but it is the holidays and these are links, so that’s how I arrived at the title.

- Fake gadgets: I would love to be buying some of these to give to friends and family, but I’d love to make my own because I think making these would be something I would be really good at.

- Universal Record Database (Beta): Amazing idea. It makes me want to record something ridiculous, just for the infamy of being a world record holder in SOMETHING. personal current favorite: Most Images of Fish Sandwiches Looked At In One Minute

- Wipee List: online task manager. There’s dozens of these, and I’ve got 2 or 3 others, but preparing to do stuff is almost as important as actually doing it.

- Ziipa: a Web 2.0 web service directory. Each of these sites performs a unique service. There are too many to sift through, but I found 2 or 3 things in the 20 minutes I looked over it that I could see helping me.

- Sitonomy: find out what is powering your favorite sites… helpful to .013% of the population. It is interesting though.

- Ekklesia360: if I was starting a mid-sized church website today, this is probably where I would start because it looks like it would support most of what most churches need and easy for anyone to administrate.

- Jobs in Columbus: The concept and branding are great. I wish they had more jobs on there and made it quicker and easier to exclude jobs in Dayton, Cleveland and other cities… it IS called jobsincolumbus.com!

Merry Christmas! If I don’t post again in the next few days.
